"Angel's Lament" is one of three in the "Angel Dancer" series of the ballet dancer Ao Wang wearing ostrich feather wings that I purchased from a designer. While it was difficult to pose Ao with the wings because they were not as flexible as I thought they would be (and because they are very delicate), we worked together to create dramatic forms that evoked different moods.
